Position: Maintenance Lead
- Department: Asset Management & Facilities Construction
- Location: Reko Diq Mine Site – Balochistan
- Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Requirement: Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Proficiency in maintenance management software and tools. Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in maintenance roles, preferably within the mining industry. Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role. Extensive knowledge of mining equipment maintenance and repair.
- Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a maintenance team, coordinate daily activities, implement strategic planning, monitor workflow, develop preventive maintenance schedules, oversee tasks and repairs, ensure quality and safety, enforce compliance, provide technical guidance, troubleshoot issues, collaborate with experts, control costs, and coordinate with procurement teams.
Position: Civil Engineer
- Department: Construction
- Location: Reko Diq Mine Site – Balochistan
- Qualification: Bachelor’s in civil engineering. PEC registered Engineer.
- Requirement: Familiar with 2D/3D modelling techniques. Competent in MS Word, Excel. Driver’s License. Eagerness to work in the field.
- Experience: Minimum 3-7 years of relevant experience in supervision of Roads and Earthworks. Team/project management experience is desirable.
- Responsibilities: Supervise civil infrastructure construction, coordinate with consultants and contractors, manage design processes, document fieldwork, develop relationships, seek improvements for safety, solve complex problems with teams, oversee fieldwork, and prepare project reports.
Position: Contract Lead
- Department: Commercial
- Location: Karachi
- Qualification: Degree or diploma qualified in Business, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management or Cost Engineering.
- Requirement: In-depth knowledge of engineering/construction industry contracting practices, applicable government & commercial regulations & practices, and policies, procedures, and work practices. Strong legal understanding of commercial agreements. Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to manage complex negotiations. Highly developed conceptual, analytical, and planning skills. Strong financial skills with substantial experience in preparing and managing contract expenditures, including variations and progress claim management. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to propose effective solutions for commercial risks. Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience at a contract specialist level, preferably within the mining or construction sector. Extensive experience in the development and administration of various types of contracts, including Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) contracts, Design & Construct (D&C) contracts, Build, Own & Operate (BOO) contracts, and Construction-only contracts. Proven track record in contract administration, home office & site procedures, and documents relating to multi-discipline construction projects. Demonstrated experience in a supervisory or leadership role overseeing contract management projects.
- Responsibilities: Lead and mentor the contracts team, manage tender packages, negotiate with contractors, present business cases, administer contracts, ensure compliance, develop supplier relationships, address commercial risks, oversee procurement, report on performance, resolve issues, manage budget, create purchase orders, maintain stakeholder relationships, and support company objectives.
