Position Details:
- Post: Chief Bosun Mate
- Qualification Required: FA / FSc or an equivalent qualification or higher
- Age Limit: Up to 50 year
Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be a Junior Commissioned Officer from the Pakistan Navy.
- Should fall under Medical Category AYE.
- Must possess a clean conduct/record.
Experience Required:
The ideal candidate should possess extensive practical experience in the following areas:
- Handling mooring equipment, gangways, pontoons, and seamanship gear to ensure optimal operational readiness.
- Maintaining channel markings/buoys for safe boat navigation.
- Efficient handling of emergencies, including firefighting, sea survival, and search and rescue operations.
- Management of Bos’n store, including maintaining stocks, issuing equipment, and ensuring cleaning gear is available as needed.
- Keeping a boats logbook updated.
- Minimum of 2–3 years experience serving as Chief Bosun Mate on a large Pakistan Navy ship.
- Background in Underwater Warfare (UW) or Surface Warfare Branch (SW) is preferred.
