Peshawar Electric Supply Company PESCO Jobs 2025: Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO), a public sector utility company under the Ministry of Energy (Power Division), has announced exciting job opportunities for qualified candidates. PESCO provides electricity to consumers within its operational jurisdiction and is inviting applications for recruitment of staff on a contractual basis. These positions offer a lump sum pay package with the possibility of extension based on satisfactory performance.

Important Notice for PESCO Employees’ Children:

In light of a Supreme Court of Pakistan decision, the quota reserved for employees’ children has been withdrawn. Candidates who applied under this quota must apply afresh as open merit candidates. Previously submitted applications will not be valid.

Available Positions

PESCO is offering two major job positions for eligible candidates:

1. Commercial Assistant

• Qualifications Required: BA, BSc, B.Com, or BCS (at least 2nd Division) along with a 6-week IT Training Course (including MS Office) from NITB/TEVTA-affiliated institutions recognized by the Board of Technical/Higher Education Commission.

2. LS-II (Line Superintendent)

• Qualifications Required: Matric with a 3-year Diploma (DAE) in Electrical/Electronics Technology from any Government Polytechnic Institute in 1st Division.

• Quota Distribution:

  • Open: 127

  • Minority: 7

• Age Limit: 18 to 30 years

Terms & Conditions:

• These positions are purely contract-based and do not guarantee regularization in the future.
• Candidates must have the domicile of districts under PESCO’s operational jurisdiction.
• Age Relaxation: Candidates from scheduled castes and Buddhists are allowed a 3-year relaxation, while government servants with at least 10 years of service can avail a 10-year age relaxation.
• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the test/interview.
• Selected candidates must work anywhere in KPK under PESCO’s jurisdiction as per company requirements.
• Incomplete applications or those received after the deadline will not be processed.
• Candidates must submit their applications through NTS (National Testing Services).
• No TA/DA will be given for the test/interview.
• Employees dismissed for misconduct or having a criminal record are not eligible to apply.

1. Online Application: Candidates must apply online through NTS website (www,nts.org.pk) within 15 days of the advertisement’s publication.

2. Application Fee: A fee of Rs. 360 must be deposited through 1Link participating banks, ATMs, mobile banking, EasyPaisa, JazzCash, or cash express counters.

3. Submission Process:

   • Applications must not be submitted directly to PESCO; only online applications via NTS will be considered.

   • Hard copies of applications will not be entertained.

   • Roll number slips, test center details, and test schedules will be available on the NTS website.
