PMDC Management Trainee Programme 2025 for Balochistan Graduates

Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC), a state-owned enterprise under the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division), Government of Pakistan, is dedicated to the exploration, mining, and marketing of various minerals. As part of our commitment to capacity building, we are excited to offer young professionals an opportunity to join our Management Trainee Programme through a one-year contractual engagement.

Programme Overview:

This is a one-year training contract aimed at developing skills in mining and geology. Please note that this programme does not constitute an employer-employee relationship, and PMDC is under no obligation to offer regular employment to trainees upon completion.

Available Positions:

Candidates who meet the above criteria are eligible to apply for the following subjects:

• Management Trainee (Mining):  Bachelors in Mining Engineering
• Management Trainee (Geology): Masters in Geology

Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates must be Baluchistan domiciled.
• Eligible candidates must have at least one qualification/education: Matric or F.Sc. from Baluchistan.
• Open merit basis for candidates who graduated in 2024.

How to Apply:

1. Candidates must download the application form from the PMDC website.
2. Submit the form along with supporting documents in an envelope marked “Application for Management Trainee” to career@pmdc.gov.pk or by post to the PMDC Head Office in Islamabad.
3. The last date to apply is 04 June 2025.
4. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
5. Selection will be on a merit basis:
   • 30% weightage on education marks
   • 40% weightage on test assessment
   • 30% weightage on interview evaluation
6. Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of PKR 80,000/- during the training period.
7. No TA/DA will be provided for the interview/test.
8. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
