Available Positions & Eligibility Criteria:

Hydrographic Surveyor (KPT PS-08):

Age Limit:

• 30 years (general age relaxation of 5 years included)

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree along with Hydrographic Survey Technician Courses from a recognized (national/international) institution.
• At least 5 years’ experience in hydrographic survey work.
• Sea survival skills and proficiency in modern survey equipment/software such as Hypack, PDS, AutoCAD, etc.

Assistant Hydrographic Surveyor (KPT PS-06):

Age Limit:

• 30 years (general age relaxation of 5 years included)

Qualification & Experience:

• Intermediate/Diploma with Hydrographic Survey Technician Courses from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in hydrographic survey work.
• Proficiency in survey equipment/software such as Hypack, PDS, AutoCAD, etc., along with sea survival skills.

How to Apply:

1. Candidates can download the application form from the official website of KPT www.kpt.gov.pk.
2. Applications should include detailed CV, bio-data, attested photocopies of educational documents, experience certificates, domicile, CNIC, and a recent passport size photograph.
3. Interested candidates should submit their applications along with attested copies of educational certificates, experience certificates, CNIC, domicile, and two recent photographs to the Manager (Human Resources), Karachi Port Trust, KPT Head Office Building, Eduljee Dinshaw Road, Karachi.
4. The application should be reached within 15 days.
5. A quota of 10% for women, 5% for minorities, and 2% for people with disabilities will be required.
6. Candidates already serving in government institutions should apply through proper channel with NOC.
7. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
8. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview.
9. No TA/DA will be provided.
