Power Information Technology Company (PITC) serves as an arm of the Government to provide IT-based customer care, facilitating through IT solutions and support to Power Sector Entities (DISCOs, GENCOs, and NTDC). The company is in continuous pursuit of ensuring the efficacy of IT solutions & support on Project Governance, Infrastructure Establishment i.e. wide area network, local area network of Power Sector. The company is looking for the services of a high-caliber professional to be part of its team.

Job Profile:

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Information Security Officer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing an enterprise-wide information security strategy. The role involves ensuring compliance with relevant national regulations, government directives, and internationally recognized cybersecurity standards, as well as fostering a culture of security across the organization.

The position is based at Lahore, however incumbent may be required to serve anywhere in Pakistan. It will be a contract appointment for a three-year term, extendable on requirement and performance. The maximum age limit is up to 55 years on the closing date of advertisement. The position carries competitive and attractive market-based remunerations.

Academic Qualification:

• Minimum of 16 years of education from a HEC recognized institution or internationally reputable university in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or an engineering discipline with emphasis on Information and Communication Technologies.
• At least one top professional certification such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CCISO), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), PhD or equivalent in Information Security.
• Sector-specific certifications such as CCSP, SANS SEC-540, ICS/SCADA 410, PCI-DSS and/or certificates on relevant ISO standards etc. will be considered preferable.

Experience:

• At least 7 years of relevant post-qualification experience with Masters in information security or relevant field, with 3-5 years in a senior security leadership role.
• At least 10 years of relevant post-qualification experience with Bachelor in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or relevant engineering discipline with emphasis on Information and Communication Technologies, with 3-5 years in a senior security leadership role.
• Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing cybersecurity programs, including at least one of: Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), Security Operations Centre (SOC), Security Testing, or Digital Forensics.
• Experience with regulatory compliance frameworks such as GDPR, NIST, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, DORA, and relevant local cybersecurity regulations.
