Government of Pakistan’s Ministry of Climate Change & Environmental Coordination, through the Pakistan Environmental Protection Agency (Pak-EPA), has announced multiple job openings under the PSDP Project “Pakistan Biosafety Clearing House for GMOs Regulation”. These positions are offered on a contract basis until the completion of the project.

Available Positions:

National Project Manager (PPS-9)

• Age Limit: 35–50 years
• No. of Posts: 01
• Qualification & Experience:
  Ph.D. or M.Phil. in Agriculture Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Genetic Engineering, or a related science.
  Candidates must have at least 12 years of experience in BS-17 or above in a reputable government/semi-government organization, with expertise in biotechnology, biosafety, and related regulations. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills are required.

Law Officer (PPS-7)

• Age Limit: 30–50 years
• No. of Posts: 01
• Qualification & Experience:
  LLB degree with a solid understanding of legal and policy issues within the government sector. A minimum of five years of relevant experience in a government or reputable organization is required.

Field Coordinator (PPS-6)

• Age Limit: 25–35 years
• No. of Posts: 01
• Qualification & Experience:
  M.Sc./BS in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Agriculture, Microbiology, or related biological sciences.
  Practical knowledge of biosafety, biotechnology, and genetic engineering laboratory procedures is essential.

Inspector/Field Officer (PPS-5)

• Age Limit: 25–35 years
• No. of Posts: 01
• Qualification & Experience:
  BS degree in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biological Sciences, or Agriculture.
  Applicants must possess practical knowledge of biosafety and biotechnology, along with laboratory techniques.

Data Entry Operator (PPS-4)

• Age Limit: 18–25 years
• No. of Posts: 02
• Qualification & Experience:
  F.Sc., ICS, or equivalent qualification.
  Candidates must be familiar with research techniques, IT skills, and data retrieval and dissemination.

• A general age relaxation of five years is applicable as per government rules.
