Available Positions:
The advertisement lists eight key positions across different pay scales and departments, including:
- Chief Mechanical & Electrical Engineer-II (BPS-20) – Candidates must hold a postgraduate degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with at least 15 years of practical experience and 7 years in a management role.
- Officer In-Charge KPOC (BPS-18) – Applicants with a Certificate of Competency (Deck Officer) from the Pakistan Navy or Merchant Ships with a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience are eligible.
- Tug Commander (BPS-18) – Requires a valid Class-III Deck Certificate of Competency with at least 3 years of sailing experience on foreign-going ships.
- Operation Room Officers (BPS-17) – Candidates should have a Class-III or Bridge Watch Keeping Certificate with at least 3 years of experience at sea or on naval ships.
- Second Officer (BPS-17) – Applicants must possess a valid Class-III/II Certificate of Competency (Nautical) with relevant sea-time and approved maritime courses.
- Assistant Dock Master (BPS-17) – Requires a 2nd Mate Certificate of Competency or equivalent with at least 3 years of sea-going experience.
- Protocol Officer (BPS-17) – Graduate candidates with at least 3 years’ experience in protocol duties within the government or semi-government sector are encouraged to apply.
- Computer Operator (KPT PS-5) – Intermediate (Computer Science) qualification with 3 years of relevant experience is mandatory.
Eligibility & Quota:
The age limit varies between 35 to 50 years, with general age relaxation of five years included as per government rules. Positions are filled on a provincial quota basis, ensuring fair representation across Pakistan.
