Hyderabad Electric Supply Company HESCO Jobs 2025 | For Director General: Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (HESCO), a premier public sector utility under the Ministry of Energy (Power Division), Government of Pakistan, is inviting applications for the position of Director General – Market Implementation & Regulatory Affairs Department (MIRAD). This role is based at the HESCO Head Office in Hyderabad and offers a unique leadership opportunity in the power sector.
HESCO is responsible for the distribution of electricity across 13 districts of southern Sindh (excluding Karachi) and has a workforce of over 10,000 employees. The newly established MIRAD department plays a crucial role in Competitive Trading Bilateral Contract Management (CTBCM), ensuring efficiency and compliance in electricity distribution.

Qualification:
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Law, or Management Sciences from an HEC-recognized university.
- A Master’s degree is an added advantage.
Experience:
- A minimum of 15 years of experience, with at least 10 years in the power sector.
The candidate must possess expertise in:
- Technical, commercial, and financial aspects of the utility business/power sector.
- Regulatory affairs, contract management, and legal matters.
- Knowledge of competitive electricity markets is an added advantage.
Age Limit:
- Up to 55 years at the time of application submission.
Employment Terms:
- Contract-based employment for an initial three-year period, with an annual performance evaluation conducted by the Board of Directors, HESCO.
