The Government of Pakistan has announced a career opportunity in the Ministry of Aviation, Islamabad, for the position of Director General (DG) of the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA). The Government is seeking to recruit dynamic, experienced, and high-caliber professionals for this key role. Applications are invited from eligible candidates across Pakistan.
Eligibility Criteria:
- For candidates from the service of Pakistan:
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a university or institute recognized by the Higher Education Commission.
- Experience:
- 25 years of experience in management and administration.
- 3 years of experience as the head of an administrative department of a Provincial Government, an attached department or division of the Federal Government, or a regulatory authority under any of these governments.
- Experience in enforcement of regulatory, local, or special laws and in public procurement or direct supervision of public procurement.
- For candidates from the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority:
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a university or institute recognized by the Higher Education Commission.
- Experience:
- 25 years of experience as an officer of the PCAA.
- 3 years of experience in public procurement or direct supervision of public procurement.
- Serving as regular Deputy Director General or equivalent in the PCAA.
- For candidates from the private sector:
- Educational Qualification: Master’s degree or equivalent from a university or institute recognized by the Higher Education Commission.
- Experience:
- 10 years of experience in civil aviation or regulatory enforcement, with at least 5 years in a senior management position in the public or private sector.
Age Limit and Tenure:
- The maximum age limit on the date of assumption of office is 57 years.
- The selected candidate will be appointed for a term of 3 years.
