Punjab Board of Investment and Trade (PBIT), the premier Investment Promotion Agency of the Punjab Province, invites applications from talented and dynamic professionals to join its team in pursuit of the mission and vision of the Honorable Chief Minister, Punjab. PBIT requires the following positions on contractual basis for a period of three (3) years.

Director General (DG) Investment Relations:

• Master’s degree or equivalent 16-year qualification from an HEC-recognized institution.
• Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience, with a proven track record in developing and executing approved plans to achieve time-bound objectives.
• Private and public investors, and strategic partners with prior experience in the Government will be given preference.
• Maximum Age: 55

Director General (DG) Business Development:

• Master’s degree or equivalent 16-year qualification from an HEC-recognized institution.
• Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in leading and achieving business development objectives of government engagement processes and the private sector.
• Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in the Government.
• Maximum Age: 55

Director (Project & Business Development):

• Master’s degree or equivalent qualification from an HEC-recognized institution, preferably in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in a proven track record in managing large-scale projects and formulating successful business development strategies.
• Maximum Age: 50

Director (Transactions):

• Master’s degree or equivalent 16-year qualification from an HEC-recognized institution in Administration, Business Management, HR or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in a strong understanding of the fiscal market dynamics and industry-specific challenges.
• Maximum Age: 50

Director (Policy Research):

• Master’s degree or equivalent 16-year qualification from an HEC-recognized institution in Public Policy, Economics, International Development, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct policy research, evaluate economic trends, and develop evidence-based recommendations.
• Maximum Age: 50

Finance:

• Master’s degree or equivalent 16-year qualification from an HEC-recognized institution.
• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in a similar leadership role, managing funding mechanisms, and audits, and overseeing financial planning, budgeting, compliance, and public sector financial regulations.
• Maximum Age: 50

Company Secretary:

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or equivalent 16-year qualification from an HEC-recognized institution or membership of a recognized professional body of corporate or chartered secretaries.
• Minimum of 5 years (5) relevant experience.
• Must meet the Fit and Proper Criteria under the Public Sector Companies (Corporate Governance) Rules, 2013 and relevant SECP regulations.
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in public sector governance, particularly in liaising with the Government of Punjab and handling official protocols.
• Maximum Age: 50

Additional Director (Project & Business Development):

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or equivalent 16-year qualification from an HEC-recognized institution.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of professional experience in project management and business development.
• Proven track record in managing large-scale projects and attracting investments, and understanding of government processes and public-private partnership models.
• Maximum Age: 45

Additional Director (Policy & Research):

• Master’s degree in Public Policy, Economics, Business Administration, or equivalent 16-year qualification from an HEC-recognized institution.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of professional experience in policy development, research, and stakeholder engagement.
• Sound knowledge of government processes and regulatory frameworks, proficiency in data analysis, report writing, and presentation tools.
• Maximum Age: 45

Chief Financial Officer:

• Member of a recognized body of professional accountants (CA, CMA, CFA, CPA, ACCA), or a Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field from an HEC-recognized institution.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant post-qualification experience, including substantial exposure to public sector financial management, project financing and implementation, knowledge of Government of Punjab’s finance procedures, AG&PR, PPRA rules, and compliance with AGP/PAC audit requirements.
• Maximum Age: 45

Chief Internal Auditor:

• Member of a recognized body of professional accountants (CA, CMA, ACCA, CPA) OR certified as a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Internal Control Auditor (CICA), or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years in dedicated internal audit qualification experience, including at least 3 years at a Managerial level.
• Demonstrated ability to liaise effectively with Auditor General of Pakistan (AGP), Public Accounts Committee (PAC), and other oversight bodies.
• Maximum Age: 45

Deputy Director:

• Master’s degree or equivalent 16-year qualification from an HEC-recognized institution in Business Administration, Management, HR, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years’ professional experience in the corporate or public sector, including at least 3 years in a similar managerial role such as administration, human resource management, business development, and marketing.
• Maximum Age: 45

Sector Expert:

• Master’s degree or equivalent 16-year qualification from an HEC-recognized institution in Business Administration, Management, Economics, or a sector-relevant discipline (e.g., Agriculture, Veterinary Sciences, Mining Engineering, Information Technology, Energy Management), public sector.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the respective sector, including at least 3 years in a proven track record of expertise in investment facilitation, policy analysis, and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong understanding of market dynamics, sector challenges, and opportunities and proficiency in IT tools and effective communication skills to interact with both local and international stakeholders.
• Maximum Age: 45

Assistant Manager:

• Master’s degree or equivalent 16-year qualification from an HEC-recognized institution in Business Administration, Public Administration, Management, Law, Economics, Public Policy, Marketing, Project Management, or related discipline.
• Preferably 2-3 years professional experience in the private or public sector; knowledge of Government procedures and ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment will be an added advantage.
• Maximum Age: 40

Assistant:

• Bachelor’s degree from an HEC-recognized institution in any discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of professional experience in the corporate or public sector.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic IT tools.
• Maximum Age: 30

Office Boys:

• Matriculation or from a recognized Board.
• Physically fit, and able to follow instructions.
• Maximum Age: 30

Sweepers:

• Matriculation (basic reading and writing skills).
• Physically fit, and able to follow instructions.
• Maximum Age: 30
