Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has opened an exciting career opportunity for highly experienced professionals in the field of sports medicine and medical sciences. PCB is seeking a qualified and dynamic individual to join as Director of Medical & Sports Sciences, a key position responsible for the physical and medical wellbeing of players in national and regional teams.
Required Education and Experience:
- Minimum Medical or Physiotherapy Degree with MSc/Diploma in Sports Sciences from a recognized university in Sports Medicines.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience working with elite athletes and teams with a demonstrable proven record.
- Preferably with experience working with National and International Athletes.
- Proven experience in a leadership role in medical and sport science, preferably in an elite sport setting.
- Preferably with additional foreign certifications in Doping, Age verification, Physical training, Musculoskeletal ultrasound, injury prevention and management, nutrition, and rehabilitation.
- Preferably with experience leading/interacting with specialists like Physicians, athletic trainers, Physical Therapists, and athletes.
- Strong understanding of the latest research and best practices in medical and sport science.
