Directorate General of Archaeology, Tourism, Archaeology and Museums Department, Government of the Punjab, has announced job opportunities under the ADP project titled “Capacity Building of Directorate General of Archaeology”. Applications are invited from qualified and eligible candidates (male/female) with Punjab domicile on an equal opportunity basis.

Heritage Specialist

Qualification:

• Master’s Degree (16 years education) in History, Archaeology, Architecture, or related field.
• A master’s degree in Architecture/History/Archaeology/Heritage Management or related disciplines is desirable.

Experience:

• Minimum 7 years in heritage management, conservation, and promotion of cultural heritage sites.
• Experience in community engagement and heritage tourism will be beneficial.

Salary:

• Rs. 275,000/- per month

Age Limit:

• 35–45 years

Heritage Impact Assessor:

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from HEC recognized university, registered with PEC.
• A Master’s degree or certification in Heritage Impact Assessment (HIA) is desirable.

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years in the relevant field, preferably in Heritage Impact Assessment.
• Experience in conservation/restoration of heritage sites & monuments.

Salary:

• Rs. 190,000/- per month

Age Limit:

• 25–35 years
