Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the 156 PMA Long Course, candidates must fulfill the following criteria:
- Nationality: Pakistani citizens (including residents of Azad Jammu & Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan)
- Age Requirements: Specific age limits apply based on educational qualifications.
- Education: Minimum Intermediate (FA/FSc) or equivalent qualification. Higher education qualifications like Bachelors (BA/BSc/BBA) may have different eligibility criteria.
- Physical Standards:
- Minimum height: 5 feet 4 inches (162.5 cm)

Selection Process
The selection process for the PMA Long Course includes:
- Online Registration: Candidates must apply online through joinpakarmy.gov.pk.
- Initial Test: Written, intelligence, and personality tests conducted at Army Selection and Recruitment Centers (AS&RCs).
- Physical Test:
- 1.6 km run in 8 minutes
- 15 push-ups in 2 minutes
- 15 sit-ups in 2 minutes
- 3 chin-ups in 2 minutes
- Medical Examination: Candidates must meet the required medical standards.
- Interviews: Shortlisted candidates appear for interviews.
- ISSB (Inter Services Selection Board) Test: A rigorous 5-day assessment process.
- Final Selection: Based on merit and performance in all tests.
